When Ken and I got married, our wedding was very small. One of the few people with us that day was a sweet lady named Vivienne, who has known my side of the family for a whole lot of years. In fact, she even provided our adorable little wedding cake! Over the years, I remember her talking about a grand-daughter named Sarah who shares my birthday (though I’m just a teensy bit older). Now Sarah is all grown up — and engaged!
Sarah and Mike met on orientation day at Reinhardt College four years ago, and began dating soon after. When deciding where to do their engagement session, we knew it just had to be on campus. Sarah called ahead and arranged for campus security to let us into the building and the very classroom where they met. They even remembered what chair they sat in that first day!<
Mike proposed by decorating Sarah’s living room with big “Will You Marry Me?” posters, made in the colors he knew she wanted for the wedding: black and white, with bright pink accents. Gotta love a guy who pays attention to the details! He must adore her!
We’d only been to the Reinhardt campus once before, but loved the chance to walk around this old on a gorgeous spring day!
Yep — they’re adorable!
Sarah and Mike, we are looking forward to more fun with you on your wedding day this fall!
