Melissa & Charles: Married!

Melissa and Charles are a fantastic, fun couple with a great sense of humor. When Melissa was having a bit of a hair crisis as she was getting ready, she told me to take photos of her because although she felt like crying, she knew she’d look back and laugh. How great is that! But I promised none of those photos would end up here! {smile}

Melissa’s mom told me that I wouldn’t find a more beautiful bride to photograph. I love this sweet moment between them just before the ceremony.

Charles was eager to see his bride.

This church is gorgeous: the chandeliers, the gently arched ceiling, sage green walls, lots of windows, gorgeous wood, tapestries, and all sorts of fantastic details.

After the ceremony, the bride and groom signed the marriage license, as well as a marriage book for the church.

We stole Melissa and Charles away for a few minutes to a lovely little sitting room.

Melissa and Charles had both the ceremony and their reception at St James Episcopal Church, which is just off the Marietta Square. It is gorgeous, inside and out, and reminds me of a castle. Love these arches!

A fun first dance…

… and a sweet dance with Melissa and her father.

Thank you for letting us be part of your day. It was truly a delight!

    Thank you for all that you’ve done for us!

    It was such a blessing to have you both at our wedding to capture the moments we’ll remember all our lives. The photos I’ve seen so far are absolutely beautiful, and I know that both Charles and I couldn’t have asked for a better team of photographers. We thought the way you moved, coordinated, and communicated together was the product of your own marriage, and it was amazing to see such a demonstration of love and teamwork on our wedding day.

    I can’t thank you enough!

    With deepest gratitude,
    Melissa
